ABOUT

Sam Aberman is a hippie-adjacent Jewish woman from Miami, Florida. She grew up in a tight-knit family of five in the middle of an older sister and a younger brother. She began performing professionally at the age of 11 and attended dance magnet programs in middle and high school. She continued performing throughout college while studying Applied Physiology & Kinesiology at the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude in 2012.

After traveling the world performing on a cruise ship, Sam moved to Los Angeles in 2013. She booked Hamilton: An American Musical at an open call in 2016, which led her to Chicago’s CIBC Theatre through its closing in 2020, then back to LA to join a new cast at the Pantages Theatre. While still performing full-time, she was accepted to the Fully Employed MBA Program at UCLA Anderson, from which she graduated in June 2022.

Sam is a proud feminist, member of the LGBTQ+ community, and uses her lived experience to advocate for mental health and well-being.

Her six-year-old cat, Mo, is the light of her life.
